About KVAR
The KVAR Energy Controller box attaches to your home electrical panel or to a motor. In businesses the units are sized, and custom designed to fit the electrical demand of the electrical appliance. The unit controls the flow of electrical energy by storing the electricity in the KVAR box until the appliance or motor needs it.
Most motors are designed to require less electricity to run than what is being supplied to our homes and businesses. For example, your refrigerator only requires electricity that is moving at 80mph but the electric company is giving you electricity moving at 100mph, so when the 100 mph electricity enters the motor that can only go 80mph, the refrigerator motor has to work harder to keep up with the flow of electricity, and the refrigerator runs hot. Have you ever wondered why your appliances get hot sometimes? It is because too much electricity is flowing through the motor and this shortens the life of your appliances and motors.
